what is a Shichon

This is a definition of our breed that Deborah Tek had sent us, I think it does a pretty good job of explaining our experience with the little puppy:

Shichon is a Shih Tzu / Bichon mix. The breed is also referred to as Teddy Bear or Zuchon. They are playful and lively, but also very gentle and calm. The temperment is that of a very gentle, self assured and well mannered dog. The Shichon is friendly with everyone and loves to just sit near you. The Shichon is hypoallergenic, making them a great choice for allergy suffers. They enjoy baths and are easy to groom. They are the ultimate lap dog.
